The Car Loan Calculator is a free static online tool site with two tools: a China car loan calculator (price, down payment, rate and term → monthly payment, total interest and a full repayment schedule) and a vehicle purchase tax calculator (VAT-inclusive invoice price → taxable price, tax due and NEV relief). Everything runs locally in your browser.
Features
No sign-up, no data upload, no tracking cookies; dark mode and mobile support; equal-installment and equal-principal repayments with monthly / bi-weekly frequencies; the purchase tax tool includes the 2026-2027 NEV half-rate policy with the ¥15,000 relief cap.
Methodology
Car loans use a nominal annual rate compounded monthly. Taxable price = invoice price ÷ 1.13; fuel vehicles pay 10%, NEVs pay half (5%) in 2026-2027. Default rates are market references and can be edited. Results are estimates only.
